They made me feel very comfortable the moment I entered the office. It was my first visit and first impressions are very important. They spent all of the time necessary for the examination & I did not feel rushed at all. They were incredible with my kitty & answered all of my questions. Their follow-up after the appointment/exam was also very thorough, making sure I did not have any questions once we returned home. All in all the entire process was perfect! You cannot do better anywhere else. I am very happy to have found them.

My pets love going to the vet!!! I so appreciate the excellent care they receive -especially my medically compromised dog! They are up on new treatments for her issues and take the time to work out the best treatments for her. Thank you!

The staff is wonderful and caring. They love my dogs and are always so delighted to see them, even my uncooperative one. They are very responsive and willing to take the time I may need for something in person, on the phone or text. I really appreciate that. I highly recommend them for you pets!

Dr. Kauffman was amazing! Her and her staff did a great job making my very anxious dog as comfortable as possible during her annual check up. I highly recommend this group.

I have been taking my cats to PVAH since they were tiny rescue babies. The doctors and staff are always warm, welcoming and helpful. They are also very patient with this nervous cat mom, as my kitties have health issues. I can't say enough good things about Prairie View Animal Hospital.

The staff are very friendly and genuinely seem to care about my dog and I love that. I’m also a very paranoid dog mom and call probably way too much and they always listen and deal with my anxiety very well, which I also greatly appreciate. I recommend people who need a vet in the area to prairie view! Oslo and I have enjoyed them.

We have been coming here for probably 3 years now. The staff is so fantastic, they are responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. Even when they are busy, they find time for us. Highly recommend bringing your pet here!

My experience at Prairie View has always been a positive one! If you're looking for a vet in the Des Moines/Grimes area, I would HIGHLY recommend them! Dr. Lisa has seen my dog since he was a puppy (he was one of her first patients and he's five years old now) and she has ALWAYS been wonderful with him! When he's sick, they squeeze him in the same day (even if I need to drop him off -- I always appreciate their flexibility). Everyone on staff does a great job ensuring my dog's experience is as fear-free as possible, feeding him peanut butter while he gets his vaccines and using minimal restraint. My dog especially loves Dave, Aimee, and Brooke -- he's always so happy to see them when we visit! And during our last appointment, my dog was reluctant to get on the table so Aimee and Dr. Lisa even got down on the floor and did his entire exam from there! Prices are very reasonable as well. Minimal wait time before they seat us in an exam room. Overall awesome doctors and staff who are genuinely passionate about the well-being of their patients! I'd give them more than five stars if I could!
