Prairie View Animal Hospital is proud to be a locally-owned, full-service veterinary clinic in Grimes, Iowa serving the northwest metro Des Moines area including Grimes, Johnston, Urbandale, and the surrounding communities. Prairie View Animal Hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, dental, and preventative care services as well as behavior and nutrition counseling for dogs, cats, rodents, and rabbits that will help make your pet an integral part of your family and ours for years to come.

To schedule an appointment for your pet, please visit this page. For your convenience, we also offer drop-off appointments Monday through Friday for all visits including wellness/vaccine visits, nail trims, sick pets, etc. Your pet can be cared for by our staff while you are at work or running errands. Click here to print and fill out a drop-off consent form before your drop-off visit.

Pet owners have the ability to see the same veterinarian at each visit and can also work with the schedule with multiple doctors on staff.

You may continue to call us to schedule an appointment for your pet. However, OUR PHONE LINES ARE EXPECTED TO BE BUSIER THAN NORMAL. Therefore, it may be best to schedule an appointment with your pet portal on our website, www.prairieviewah.com. After creating your portal account on our website, you may also schedule an appointment through our app, MyPetsWellness (by AppointMaster).
